We are a restaurant and culinary business training program that supports immigrant and refugee women.
noun, singular
"A smooth, flat griddle typically used in Mexico, Central America, and parts of South America to cook tortillas & arepas, sear meat, and generally prepare food. It is known to be the hearth of a family's kitchen."
Established under Focus Points Family Resource Center, a 501(c)(3) Denver nonprofit, the work of Comal is made possible by generous contributions from supporters like you that directly benefit our organization and its entrepreneurs.
After eight incredible years, Comal Heritage Food Incubator has closed its doors—but the impact of this community will live on. Comal was never just a restaurant. It was a place where cultures were shared, skills were honed, and dreams were built. It was a space where immigrant and refugee entrepreneurs found their voices, their confidence, and their path forward.
Thank you to everyone for allowing us to be a part of your community!
