noun, singular
"A smooth, flat griddle typically used in Mexico, Central America, and parts of South America to cook tortillas & arepas, sear meat, and generally prepare food. It is known to be the hearth of a family's kitchen"
Since the launch in October 2016, with the support of Focus Points Family Resource Center, Comal's training program has served 24 local participants and helped successfully launch 4 small businesses.
Our mission is to serve as a platform for economic development for aspiring immigrant and refugee women entrepreneurs to learn the skills to find a great job in the industry or launch their own business using our earn-while-you-learn model.
Our staff and countless volunteers are committed to supporting our community with a wealth of resources. As a part of Focus Points Family Resource Center, Comal offers full wrap-around services to support the whole family of those we serve.
We love our customers, so feel free to visit during normal business hours.
